Day 1
Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam!

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be transferred to your hotel. You have the whole day at your disposal – why do not you go out and collect first impressions of Vietnam? Do not forget to eat in one of the many local restaurants while strolling through the streets of Hanoi! You will not regret it!

Day 2
Day 2: Meet Hanoi!

In the morning visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the great President Ho Chi Minh rests in peace. You will also see the traditional stilt houses and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, a special pagoda with a unique structure.

Today is a visit to the millennial temple of literature on the program, the first and most famous university in Vietnam. You will understand why it is a favorite place for Vietnamese students to take memorial photos during graduation.

In the afternoon, learn about Vietnamese history by visiting either the Women’s Museum or the Hoa Lo Museum. The choice depends on your preferences, as the two museums present different stories. The Women’s Museum is dedicated to Vietnamese women and shows their role in society. Hoa Lo was once a French colonial prison for political prisoners.

In the evening, take the night train to Lao Cai.

Day 3
Day 3: Meet the locals!

You will arrive at Lao Cai around 5 in the morning. A driver will pick you up and bring you to your hotel, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast.

Then take a walk from Sapa towards Cat Cat Village. You stop at a small waterfall before you drive through terraced rice fields. You will also enjoy views of a spectacular landscape as you walk along a narrow river.

Time to meet the locals! You visit the village of Y Linh Ho, home of the Black H’mong. After lunch, continue to the Muong Hoa Valley and pass through the village of Lao Chai and then the village of Ta Van, home of the Giay. After completion of the village visits, you will be returned directly to your hotel. There are many good restaurants around the hotel, so go out and enjoy the authentic Vietnamese cuisine!

Day 4
Day 4: Take a look at the highest peak in Indochina!

Get up and shine! After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, head to the village of Xin Chai, home to the Black H’mong hill tribes. From the village, climb Hoang Lien Mountain. Once you have reached the top, you start your hike on a small path that offers a magnificent view. Do not forget to bring your camera! Then cross the TramTon Pass and head to the Sky Gate, from where you can see the Fansipan Mountain – the highest peak in Indochina. It is a breathtaking view! Return to Lao Cai Station for the night train back to Hanoi.

Day 5
Day 5: Enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay!

Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning and transfer by shuttle bus to Halong Bay, a scenic bay listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Halong Bay with its 3000 islands against the backdrop of limestone in the Gulf of Tonkin is one of the most beautiful places in the world. You will be impressed by the breathtaking scenery that opens up before your eyes!

In the afternoon, board a beautiful overnight cruise boat in Halong Bay for an excellent selection of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on the boat. Cruises in Halong Bay are sure to be a spectacular experience that will captivate you! Imagine the spectacular island spread of Halong Bay floating in the emerald green waters!

Day 6
Day 6: Admire the sunrise over Halong Bay!

Do not forget to set your alarm clock the day before to the early morning. Otherwise you will miss a spectacular view – the sunrise over Halong Bay! Enjoy the fresh air from the sea and immerse yourself in the peaceful morning while admiring the magical views!

After a morning swim, have breakfast on board and continue your cruise to explore the rest of the bay. After lunch on board, drive back to the pier and return to Hanoi.

Day 7
Day 7: Goodbye, Vietnam!

Today is a free day in Hanoi. Maybe you have missed a place you want to see or just feel the spirit of Hanoi’s streets again? There is plenty of time for you to enjoy the day in Hanoi. You will be picked up 3 hours before your flight and taken to Noi Bai Airport on time for your home flight!

Although your amazing journey has ended, you will leave Vietnam full of happy memories. Do not forget that Vietnam is always ready to call you back. Bye for now!
