8-Day Philippines Discovery Trip From Manila To Cebu City, Moalboal, And Oslob - 8 Days

We will pick you up at Ninoy Aquino International Airport and transport you to your assigned accommodations in Manila. Once you’re settled in, kick off the day with an add-on half-day walking tour around Intramuros’ famous walls. You’ll explore historical destinations such as Fort Santiago, Plaza Moriones, Memorare-Manila 1945 Monument and Casa Manila. If you don’t mind learning about the dark side of history, why not opt for the night walking tour? Hear stories from World War II and visit the same monuments on offer during the day-tour – Fort Santiago, Memorare-Manila 1945 Monument and Casa Manila.

Your hotel stay in Manila will be followed by a trip to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport. From there, you’ll be transferred to Moalboal, a small coastal town in Cebu’s southwestern region. Upon arrival, settle into your standard-level accommodations and then feel free to explore some of the attractions nearby. Escape to White Beach and spend a leisurely day out or savor the delicious regional dishes at any of the nearby eateries.

On the third day, after breakfast, you will be taken on a complimentary tour to Badian in the morning for your exciting canyoneering experience. To guarantee your safety, you’ll need to wear some special equipment before stepping on the zipline that will take you to the trail’s beginning. You’ll then traverse rivers, climb stones, jump off ledges and dive into a pool towards Kawasan Falls. After admiring the majestic view of the falls, you can enjoy a delicious lunch before being transported back to your hotel for some rest.

On the fourth day, after having a delicious breakfast, you will experience the waters of Cebu. Your driver will pick you up from Moalboal. Then you’ll be taken to your boat which will take you to Pescador Island. Here, you can get ready to marvel at the array of vibrant marine life – from colorful corals and diverse fish species, to the spectacular sardine run that forms a wall of thousands upon thousands swimming in unison. And don’t forget Turtle Bay where turtles live in their natural habitat! At the end of your journey, you’ll be brought back to your hotel for some well-deserved rest.

In today’s free time, you can do whatever you want. You also have a decent breakfast in your hotel today. If you haven’t been to Panagsama Beach, go there and have a drink at one of the restaurants. If you prefer a quieter beach, try White Beach or Lambug Beach.

On day 6, after breakfast, you’ll board a boat and sail out to Oslob, getting as close as possible to the whale sharks. Although sightings can never be guaranteed, it is likely you will get a chance to observe these awesome creatures while swimming or snorkeling near them – but please remember not to touch or disturb them. A lunch is also included in this tour. Afterwards, you’ll traverse to Sumilon Sandbar, which changes in shape depending on the weather and the season, before stopping at Tumalog Falls and its picturesque cascading water and natural pool.

After checking out and having breakfast, you will be transferred to Cebu City. Upon arrival at the hotel, you can relax or go out and explore the hotel and the surrounding areas on your own. You can book an add-on guided tour of the city, which includes a visit to Magellan’s Cross, Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño, Yap-Sandiego Ancestral House and Capitol Site. Upon completion of the tour, you will be transported back to your hotel in preparation for your flight the following day.

After breakfast, it is free time for you to visit nearby areas or go shopping until you check out of your hotel and head to Mactan-Cebu International Airport. You will board a plane here for your trip back home. You may arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport after around an hour and 25 minutes of flight time.
