Discover Hanoi Charms & Halong Bay - 6 Days

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and taken to your hotel. After washing up, you will have dinner at the restaurant, which used to be one of the old French colonial villas. After that, experience a performance at Thang Long Water Puppet Theater before resting overnight in Hanoi.

On the second day, you’ll explore the fascinating Old Quarter with hundreds of specialty shops, selling lacquerware, silk clothing, etc. You can stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and people-watch at one of the many stylish cafes or shop for modern art in the city’s galleries. You will have the opportunity to visit the main attractions of Hanoi including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum and the Temple of Literature.

You will have a private hotel pick-up service at 8:30 am and be taken to the jetty where you will arrive around 12:30 pm. You will board a Chinese junk and cruise through the Bay while lunch is served and enjoyed. When cruising on the bay, you will see thousands of limestone islands sculpted from the waves. After lunch, you will visit Dinh islet, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Binh Phong mountain, Sung Sot cave and Titop beach. You can also watch the sunset at the top of the mountain or take a bamboo boat ride to explore the tunnels and many beautiful coral reefs. Dinner and overnight stay aboard the junk.

Enjoy breakfast and watch the sunrise over the bay if you get up early. You will then be taken to Bai Tho Mountain near Tu Long Bay Beach before heading back to the harbor. Have dinner at Hanoi restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi

100km from Hanoi, Van Long is a land of admirable natural beauty, whose splendor is said to beat the beauty of the whole of Ha Long Bay. You will leave Hanoi at 8:30 am and travel to Van Long. On the way, you will spend an hour to visit Dinh and Le temples of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, then continue moving to Van Long for lunch. You can choose to take the optional ox cart ride to Van Long Wharf for a 2-hour boat ride along the Van Long River and admire the limestone peaks. On the way, you will get to see the life of local people before returning to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at 6 pm and rest. Overnight in Hanoi.
