Day 1
Ho Chi Minh to local villages in Cai Be (L, D)

Take the road to Cai Lay. Bike through local villages and along canals. Visit the Cai Be Floating Market and observe the activities of the locals.
We depart from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. for an easy hour drive out of busy Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Lay, the Mekong Delta’s gateway. The ride will take you through tropical gardens of durian and jackfruit on narrow concrete paths… There are paths along natural canals that weave through quiet hamlets and across rivers, providing excellent biking opportunities. We take a boat ride around Caibe to see the sights, including the floating market, where fruits and vegetables are hung on bamboo poles in front of the boats to advertise what is for sale. We’ll stop in villages where the residents make popcorn, rice crispy treats, and coconut candy. We then cycle across the upper Mekong River to our overnight homestay
In Cai Be, spend the night at a homestay.

Day 2
Bike through coconut plantations and villages Tra Vinh (B, L, D)

To get to Tra Vinh, take the ferry.
We ride from the homestay through peaceful villages, where we can see farmers working in nursery fruit tree gardens, as they have for generations.
The afternoon bike ride takes you through coconut plantations (coconut country), with thousands of tall coconut trees on both sides of the paths. It creates a beautiful scene!
We took a local ferry across the Upper Mekong River to Travinh Town for an overnight homestay later that afternoon.

Day 3
Tra Vinh, Bike through the villages of Cambodia - Can Tho (B, L, D)

Ride your bike to Ba om Pond and the Khmer Pagoda School. Bike through the villages of Cambodia (85km)
We began our bike ride from the hotel and rode for 4 kilometers, stopping briefly at Ba om Pond. This is a popular local tourist attraction in Tra Vinh Province, with many 100-year-old trees near one of the Mekong Delta’s oldest Khmer pagodas. We also go to a Khmer Pagoda School to learn about Khmer students’ lives.
Then we continue cycling through Khmer villages on concrete paths to the Mekong Delta’s largest rice-growing area.
In Can Tho, spend the night in a hotel.

Day 4
Can Tho returns Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

Visit the Cai Rang floating market by boat. Bike along the riverbank, make a pit stop at the local market By car, return to HCM
We go on a boat trip to the Cai Rang floating market early in the morning. The remarkable “Great Supermarket,” the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta and Cantho City’s most important tourist attraction.
Later that morning, we began our ride along the river’s concrete path. Many bridges connect the small villages along the path. We make a pit stop at a local market to observe daily activities and sample fresh fruits grown locally.
After lunch, we return by car to Ho Chi Minh City, where the tour concludes!
Have a fantastic biking vacation!
