Essence of Northern Vietnam - 8 Days

Half-day tour (morning or afternoon) depends on your arrival time in Hanoi. You can choose to travel by car or motorbike depending on your preference. The tour’s routes can also be changed according to your preferences. First, move to the Temple of Literature, the first University of Vietnam. Then, visit One Pillar Pagoda, Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum, and Uncle Ho’s stilt house. Next, you will be taken to West Lake, visit Tran Quoc Temple, the most ancient temple in Hanoi. After your visit to the pagoda, you will have a meal at a traditional Vietnamese restaurant.
Free time to relax or explore on your own.
Overnight at Hanoi hotel

After breakfast at the hotel, Metta Voyage’s car will pick you up and depart for Mai Chau. There will be a short break along the way and you will arrive in Mai Chau around noon. Enjoy a welcome drink, and then a traditional village lunch. In the afternoon, you will be able to use bicycles during the tour with a local guide. You will encounter farmers working in the fields. Next is free time for you to walk around, shop.
Overnight at Bungalow Mai Chau

After breakfast, you will continue your journey to visit villages such as Na Meo village, Na Mo village with your guide to learn the cultural features and traditional customs of the local people.
11:00, you will return to the homestay to rearrange your belongings and check out. Then again free time to shopping.
15:00: Metta Voyage’s car will take you back to Hanoi, which takes 4 hours.
Overnight at Hanoi hotel

On the 4th day, you will have a trip to Hoa Lu, Tam Coc Ninh Binh.
After breakfast at the hotel, our car will pick you up and move to Ninh Binh. Along the way, there will be a short break for you so that you will have a chance to enjoy the fresh air of the immense rice fields.
Coming to Tam Coc, you will be sitting on a small boat to explore limestone mountains, fields and pagodas along the way. You will then return to the mainland for lunch at a local restaurant.
After resting, you will be able to participate in activities such as fishing, visiting the locals, cycling around the villages, … the itinerary depends on your time that day.
Move to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, where you will learn about ancient Vietnamese history.
After visiting Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, you will return to Hanoi to move to Lao Cai by bus in the evening.
Overnight in sleeper bus

6:00: You will arrive in Lao Cai. Our car will pick you up and take you to Sapa in 1 hour.
Early check-in (surcharge) gives you time to rest before starting your day’s itinerary.
9:30: Local guide will be present and you will start moving to visit Y Linh Ho village. Then you will come to Lao Chai village, where the Black H’Mong live. After visiting Lao Chai village, you will continue to visit Ta Van village, where the Zay people live. In the villages, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the customs and traditions of the ethnic minorities here.
After visiting Ta Van village, the car will take you back to Sapa city.
Free time to explore, relax.
Overnight at Sapa hotel

Have breakfast at the hotel and then arrange your belongings and check out. Trekking to Cat Cat village of the Black H’Mong. Rest and lunch will be served by the riverside. Then continue trekking to Sin Chai village. The village is located at the foot of Fansipan mountain, where you can comfortably admire the beautiful scenery and take pictures. You return to the main road and travel by jeep to Sapa town, 3km away.
15:00: The car will pick you up at your hotel and return to Hanoi.

Have breakfast at Hotel. The car will pick you up and take you to Ha Long Bay.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your cruise guide. Welcome drink and learn about your itinerary for 2 days. Check in a cabin and then you’ll enjoy delicious seafood dishes while cruising the bay.
Depending on the cruise’s itinerary, after the break time, you can participate in a number of activities on the cruise such as visiting caves, kayaking, swimming. sunbathing,…
You will then return to the boat to rest and have dinner.
After dinner, you’ll be able to relax or enjoy an onboard activity like squid fishing.
Overnight on the cruises

You will wake up early and practice Tai Chi in the morning. If not interested, you can relax on the sundeck, watching the sunrise over the bay.
Breakfast, and then it’s time to explore the famous caves in Ha Long Bay.
Lunch will be served on your way back to the harbor to return to Hanoi
