Day 1
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur (D)

ABOUT KUALA LUMPUR – The origin of the name is “Muddy Confluence” where two rivers – The Klang Rivers & Gombak Rivers meet. Kuala Lumpur is also popularly known as (KL) and is a kaleidoscope of cultures, costumes and cuisines. Kuala Lumpur is also home to PETRONAS Twin Towers, the world’s tallest twin towers.
Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) you will be transferred to the City. Check-in Hotel. In the evening, you will be taken to the open-air bazaar of Chinatown, a Hindu temple and to a sumptuous buffet, Malay cuisine accompanied with a cultural show.
Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 2
Day 2: Kuala Lumpur (B / L)

Full-Day Malacca Tour inclusive of lunch covering the historic & heritage trail in the old part of town, the excursion includes the ruins of A’ Famosa – a Portuguese Fortress, St. Paul’s Hill, Porta De Santiago, Red Square, which consists of The Stadhuys, the Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum – home to a fine collection of antique that portrays a cultural heritage. After lunch, walk along Malacca Jonker Street, a street famous for its collection of antiques and souvenir shops that end by the banks of the Malacca River. Return to Kuala Lumpur.
Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 3
Day 3: Kuala Lumpur / Kota Kinabalu (B / Refreshment)

Depart to Kuala Lumpur International Airport for an onwards flight to Kota Kinabalu.
ABOUT KOTA KINABALU – Situated on the island of Borneo, Kota Kinabalu or commonly known as KK is a vibrant city on Sabah’s west coast and is the gateway to eco-adventures like mountain climbing, white-water rafting & diving.
Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, proceed to the Mari-Mari Cultural Village. The village is located about 25 minutes away from the city. The journey will take you through long roads surrounded by a rich spectrum of greenery and overarched by wild blue skies. In the village, the colors of cultural diversity are not an issue but rather our pride, where you can savor the soul of Sabah. Upon arrival at the entrance of the village, you will be ushered to the warmth of different homes of the ethnicities of Sabah. Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent and offer you a truly genuine experience seeing everything in and around the village lends to its magical prowess of taking you back in time. Not only does this village portray these tribes through the architectural genius of their traditional houses, but also through a range of simulated lives of the olden epoch by the residents of the village. Acquaint yourself with each tribe as they let you come into their house and their simple yet intricate lives.

As you traverse the village, you will find demonstration huts along with the main houses in which daily activities of old times come into life. For example, the making of a blowpipe, starting a fire (from a bamboo tree – you will learn the steps of making fire without the help of a lighter), tattoo-making (and its symbolisms) and etc.
By the end of your journey into the past, you have been given a setting for you to see, hear, taste and feel the uniqueness of what Sabah truly is. An unforgettable encounter of our Sabahan homeland.

Day 4
Day 4: Kota Kinabalu / Lahad Datu / Danum Valley (B / L / D)

Meet at the hotel lobby and transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for flight to the east coast town of Lahad Datu.

ABOUT DANUM VALLEY Conservation Area– Located deep in an untouched tropical forest, the Danum Valley Conservation Area is a thriving paradise of diverse tropical vegetation and wildlife.
Meet on arrival and proceed to the office for registration and briefing. Depart on a 2 ½ hour drive on the gravel road to the Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Check-in on arrival with an introduction to the various facilities available at Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, proceed for an introduction to the forest through the “Nature Trail” and onwards to the “Canopy Walkway”. Return to the lodge for dinner and later a briefing and slide presentation before proceeding for the “Night Drive” to search for nocturnal animals.

Day 5
Day 5: Danum Valley (B / L / D)

Early morning, proceed for a guided jungle walk to the “Canopy Walkway” to experience the early morning ambiance with the sounds of birds and jungle sounds. Trek to the “Coffin Cliff” for a bird’s eye view of Borneo Rainforest Lodge and on the return journey, a stop at the “Jacuzzi Pool”, an opportunity to take a dip into the pool. Lunch at the Lodge. In the afternoon, free at leisure or go for “Water Tubing” for an hour at the Danum River. After dinner proceeds for the “Night Walk “.

Day 6
Day 6: Danum Valley/ Kota Kinabalu (B / L)

After breakfast, free at leisure or follow a guided walk along the “Segama Trail” / “Hornbill Trail”. Return to the lodge for lunch, check out after lunch and depart Borneo Rainforest Lodge for Lahad Datu Airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu.

Meet on arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and transfer to hotel.

Afternoon Tour Klias Mangrove Wildlife & Fireflies

Klias Forest Reserve’s journey will be along scenic coastal roads and picturesque villages. In the evening river cruise in search of wildlife such as the probosci’s monkeys, varieties of birds, monitor lizards, crocodiles, etc. will commence. Return to the jetty at 1830Hrs where a traditional Malay buffet dinner will be served. As dusk sets in, reconvene your short river cruise to observe the flickering fireflies lighting up the river banks. At 1930Hrs, transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

Full-Day Tunku Abdul Rahman Park

Just 20 minutes away by boat from Kota Kinabalu city, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park beckons with its idyllic setting of sun, sand and sea. You can picnic, snorkel, and scuba dive or just relax. The day is yours to enjoy at leisure and it may be as lazy or as fun-filled as you wish it to be.

Full-Day Kinabalu Park

This tour brings you across the mountainous Crocker Range with a panoramic view of the countryside and soaring hills. Whilst en route to Kinabalu Park, you can catch the magnificent sight of Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia’s highest peak. The Park is a World Heritage Site with incredible mega bio-diversity of flora and fauna, a heaven for nature enthusiasts. On arrival, enjoy a guided nature trek along with one of the many trails in the park. Includes: Lunch

Half-Day House of Skulls

Start your tour with a drive passing through rice fields and houses on stilts which indicate the communities are farmers and rice fields as their main crop. The Kadazandusun is one of Sabah’s largest ethnics populations and dominated the land of Sabah. Being fearless and masters of headhunting, one-man stands amongst them, Monsopiad. The legend’s lives and his generation have restored the house that housed his trophies (skulls). Listen to the narrator which will bring you to the time why headhunting was necessary and the reason behind it. Cultural dance, handicraft making are few of the activities conducted during the tour. Guests will have the opportunity to try one of their dances and photo-taking with the dance group.

Day 10: Kota Kinabalu (B)

Free at leisure until your departure transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
