Along with all other group members who may be arriving at a similar time, you will be taken to your hotel and check in to your room or stow your luggage if your room is not ready yet. Drive on the picturesque Perfume River and admire the Thien Mu Pagoda. See the magnificent tomb of Minh Mang before heading to the Zen House to learn more about the architecture and spiritual significance of this beautiful place. Finally, visit Tha Om Garden to see the heritage of Mr. Vinh, his 19th century owner.</p>
<p>Leave Hue for Hoi An and take a scenic route across the Hai Van Pass. Take a tour of this enchanting city this afternoon. A wonderfully laid-back place, the streets invite you to stroll – visit the Japanese bridge, the colorful market and the Chinese temple. Stop by to visit Reaching Out, a craft workshop for social businesses, and watch the craftsmen at work.</p>
<p>Head into the lush surroundings of Hoi An to Tra Que, where you can see local farmers working and lush gardens with vegetables and herbs. Join a local family for lunch and a cooking demonstration. Back in Hoi An, the rest of the day is free.</p>
<p>The lush city of Saigon drives Vietnam into the modern world, but is also a treasure trove of fascinating heritage. Visit the colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and visit the main post office, the reunification palace and the cool war museum.</p>
<p>Leave the city in the fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels, a network of underground passageways used by the Viet Cong during the war. After an afternoon of free time, dine in the dark at Noir, a restaurant for the visually impaired in Saigon.</p>
<p>Drive via Can Tho aboard Victoria Mekong and board the Delta. Dine on delicious local cuisine and enjoy a traditional music show as you head upriver to the welcome dinner. Retire later to your comfortable cabin for the night.</p>
<p>Explore Tiger Island and the local industry by either Sampan or electric bike before continuing upstream to visit a floating market and local museum.</p>
<p>Continue your shore excursion around Tan Chau, including a stop in a Cao Dai Temple, a Silk Village, and the opportunity to see the Tra Su Forest. Watch an exciting lion dance performance in the evening.</p>
<p>Cross Cambodia and enjoy the passing scenery. On-board activities such as cocktail making are offered. In the late afternoon, dock at Sisowath Quay for a traditional apsara performance and farewell dinner.</p>
<p>Leave the ship behind this morning and drive the Cyclo into the heart of the city. Visit the magnificent Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda before heading to the National Museum and Wat Phnom.</p>
<p>Visit the city’s history with a visit to the Tuol Sleng Museum and the Killing Fields, places that eerily recall the Khmer Rouge regime. Later, see how traditional arts are preserved on a Cambodian Living Arts tour before sampling a local beer</p>
<p>After breakfast, fly to Siem Reap. First, visit Kbal Spean to see the intricate carvings of Hindu gods and the sacred Linga carved into the riverbed and shores. Continue to enchanting Banteay Srei – a richly decorated Hindu temple made of rose sandstone. The work is so complicated that it is said that it could only have been carved by a woman.</p>
<p>Drive into the old town of Angkor Thom and pass the magnificent South Gate, flanked by 54 gods and demons. In the center of Angkor Thom is the enigmatic Bayon, a stunning temple with countless sculptural ornaments. Admire the Elephant Terrace and the Leper’s Terrace. Continue to Ta Prohm before the rest of the day is devoted to Angkor Wat, the most magnificent and best preserved of Angkor’s treasures. Enjoy an exuberant performance of the Phare Cambodian Circus this evening.</p>
<p>Flood season (August to February) Enjoy a morning cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, visit the floating village of Kampong Phluk and observe the way of life of these sea communities. Low season (March to July) Visit the floating village of Chong Kneas. Return to Siem Reap for an afternoon free.</p>
<p>Today you will be taken to the airport on time for your departure. Today, you have free time before departure. Fly to Australia the next day.</p>
