Mixing Charm and Adventure in a Tour of Cambodia - 12 Days

Upon your arrival Phnom Penh Airport, our guide will greet you then you’ll transfer to hotel. Next, visit the Victory Monument and the National Museum, the Royal Palace, and the Silver Pagoda. The tour will conclude with a visit to Wat Phnom Temple (Phnom Penh’s namesake), from which you can enjoy sunset views of the city’s tree-lined avenues. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Have breakfast. Then visit the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. After that, you’ll have some free time at a Russian market before seeing Choeung Ek’s “Killing Fields” (lunch not included). Then, enjoy a walk along the Mekong River and board a boat for a 1-hour Mekong Sunset Cruise. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Have breakfast, followed by an early departure by private car or minivan (accompanied by your guide) to Mondulkiri, a province located 543 kilometers north of Bangkok. You’ll arrive at Sen Monorom and check into your hotel, where you’ll have time to explore the hotel’s hillside. In Mondulkiri, spend the night in a motel.

After leaving town, drive north for 17 kilometers to Sen Monorom. You’ll have the opportunity to see the community of Phulung. You’ll have a terrific time (even if the ride might be challenging at times). You will meet your c ar in the mid-afternoon and drive back to Sen Monorom for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you’ll go for a tour to Bousra Waterfall. The journey through the jungle to get here is an incredible adventure. After a soak at the waterfall, you’ll have a picnic lunch. Back to Sen Monorom and overnight there.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you and your driver will return to the main road at Snuol, where you will proceed to Kratie. A portion of the road between Snuol and Kratie is in excellent shape. Check-in at the hotel, then visit the Prek Kampi Reserve to see the Mekong River Dolphins. In Kratie, spend the night here.

Breakfast in hotel. Then you will depart Kratie by road and go to Chhlong District. After that, you’ll travel to Kampong Cham and check into a hotel for some rest. Then, go to Wat Nokhor, which has both modern and antique temples and pagodas (some dating back to the 12th Century). Overnight in Kampong Cham.

Have breakfast then transfer to Kampong Thom. You’ll stop at Wat Khear Nokor and Phum Prasat along the way. When you get to Kampong Thom, you’ll have lunch (not included). In the afternoon, you’ll travel 35 kilometers northeast of Kampong Thom to Prasat Sambor Prei Kuk. You’ll see Chenla, an ancient capital with 100 temples going back to the Pre-Angkorian period. After that, you’ll go to Siem Reap to check in and spend the night at your hotel.

Start tour the Roluos Group after breakfast at the hotel. The buildings of Roluos, which served as Indravarman I’s capital from AD 877 to AD 89, are among the oldest permanent temples created by the Khmers and mark the beginning of Khmer classical art. After that, you’ll return to the hotel for lunch (not included in the package). In the afternoon, visit Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Eastern Mebon, and Pre Rup’s “Mountain Temple”. Spend the night in Siem Reap.

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll travel to Angkor Thom, the ancient capital of Cambodia (12th Century). Explore the South Gate, Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, you’ll see Angkor Wat, the most famous of all the Angkor temples. Spend the night in Siem Reap.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to Banteay Srei Temple (10th centur). Then it’s on to Banteay Samre,. The ensemble is surrounded by two concentric walls. You’ll pass by Ta Prohm Temple on your way back (lunch not included). In the afternoon, travel 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap to the floating village of Chong Khneas. You can take a traditional wooden boat trip on the Tonle Sap (Cambodia’s “Great Lake”), which is Asia’s largest lake. Spend the night in Siem Reap at your hotel.

Breakfast will be served at the hotel, and you will have free time until your transfer to Siem Reap airport for your flight to your next destination.
