Vietnam’s Culture, Art and Pristine Nature - 5 Days

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, our guide will welcome and transfer you to your hotel in the center of Hanoi. Have dinner at the restaurant that was once one of the French colonial villas. Then you will attend a traditional water puppet show before relax for the evening. Overnight in Hanoi

Explore the Old Quarter with hundreds of traditional shops selling silk clothes, lacquer wares, embroidered towels, furniture, bamboo, cooking utensils, ceremonial utensils,… Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit traditional Hanoi’s Old House. In addition, you will be able to visit the main famous attractions of Hanoi such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, His House on Stilts, One Pillar Pagoda, Fine Arts Museum and Temple of Literature.
Eating on the street is a very typical activity for Hanoians and makes up an important part of the city’s unique culture. In the afternoon, depart at 15:30 for a leisurely walk with our tour guide to the Old Quarter. Make your first stop to taste the national dish of Vietnamese – Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup). Then wander around a local market to enjoy the sights, the sounds and the aroma from hundreds of kinds of food on offer. Then sit down at a tiny Banh Duc shop to try a bit of Banh Duc – cooked rice powder with Vietnamese spices. Banh Duc will be served hot or cool, depends on weather. Your next stop is a little shop selling many different types of traditional Northern cakes such as Com cake (young rice) which is considered to be a part of every Hanoians’ childhood. Follow your guide to a small alley to get an idea of a typical “tube houses” of Hanoi. You will stop at Banh My Lan Ong and try their famous bread with Pâté. After the banh mi, you can enjoy some Vietnamese desserts – sweet soups called Che. Then cap off your trip by tasting a cup of Vietnamese egg coffee before returning back to your hotel

The driver will pick you up at your hotel at 8:30 am, you will leave Hanoi for Halong Bay in 3 hours. Upon arrival, your cruise guide will greet you, enjoy a welcome drink and listen to some information during your cruise. Lunch will be served while you enjoy the flawless beauty of thousands of limestone islands. After lunch, the group went inside the fanciful landscape of Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Binh Phong mountain, Sung Sot cave, round Titov Beach. Watch the sunset on the top of Mount Titov or take a boat to explore the coral bay. Dinner and overnight on cruise.

The sound of the ocean comes alive, signaling a lovely day to come again. Before breakfast you can have the opportunity to watch the sunrise over the bay (if you get up early). After breakfast, you will cruise to Bai Tho Mountain in the beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay and return to Ha Long pier. The driver will wait and take you back to Hanoi. Dinner and wine at Press Club restaurant, which features international dishes with Asian influences. Overnight in Hanoi.
