Day 2: Hanoi (B)

Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the preserved body of "Uncle Ho" may be viewed, his nearby house, the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and a couple of museums. Following lunch at local restaurant,you will enjoy a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter. Evening there will be a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi .

Day 3: Halong Bay Cruise (B,L,D)

Car to Halong Bay. On a smaller cruise aboard, you will be traveling around Halong Bay with its marvelous limestone landscape on a 2 day 1 night cruise. The boat trip comes well around Halong Bay and away from the areas where most tour boats are located. A visit to a cave is planned a landing on a large limestone island, and the opportunity to kayak. Meals and overnight on board in a 2-person cabin with a private bath and toilet.

Day 4: Halong - Hanoi - Ancient Capital Hue (B)

Do not forget to set your alarm clock from the day before to the early morning. Otherwise, you will miss a spectacular view – the sunrise over Halong Bay! Enjoy the fresh air from the sea and immerse yourself in the peaceful morning while admiring the magical views! Have breakfast on board and continue your cruise to explore the rest of the bay. After lunch on board, drive back to the pier and return to Hanoi. In the afternoon you will take a flight to Hue and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Ancient town Hoian (B)

Today you leave the world Heritage Hue to Hoian passing the Hai Van pass. Once in Hoi An we visit one school in Hoi An before checking into our hotel and having some free time to explore. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: Hue (B)

Rising up in the ancient land, breakfast in the hotel, we board on a private boat for cruising on the romantic Perfume River. This time you head out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded by ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Setting in the convergence of rivers gives you a great view of the Perfume River and the surrounding area. From here you will cruise further to the ornate Minh Mang's tomb. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant you continue to drive to visit king Tu Duc's tomb and king Khai Dinh's tomb. Overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Hoian Ancient town (B)

We enjoy a half day orientation tour of Hoian including the Chinese Assembly Halls, the Japanese Covered Bridge , Phuc Kien Pagoda and Tan Ky House. Following the tour there will be free time to shopping or relaxing. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoian - Danang - HCMC (Saigon) (B)

Leave Hoian we make the 60 minute drive from Hoi An to Danang Airport . From Danang we take the one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City , where we transfer directly to our centrally located hotel. We embark on a city tour of Saigon including The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, , Giac Lam Pagoda, China town with ancient pagodas and temples, and bustling Binh Tay Market. Explore colorful outdoor markets, the city's upscale shopping boulevard with boutiques selling clothes and accessories designed by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high quality linens and housewares. Try the south's strong Vietnamese iced coffee and a banh mi (baguette sandwich).

Day 9: Cu Chi tunnels (B)

In the morning visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 10: Mekong Delta Excursion (B)

Depart for the 1.5-hour drive from Saigon to Ben Tre, located in the Mekong River Delta, swapping the city scenes with the lush rice paddies and fruit farms. At the dock, embark on a fascinating motorboat excursion, passing stilt houses, fish farms and scenes of country life. Arrive at Turtle Island and taste freshly harvested coconut milk and fruit while interacting with a local farming family. Take a tour of a family-run coconut candy workshop that uses Ben Tre's famous coconuts. Explore the Delta's many canals from a rowing sampan and enjoy countryside hospitality while sipping a cup of honey tea while watching a traditional folk song performance. In the afternoon, we back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Riep (B)

You have free time until transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap, your base for visiting the fabulous ancient sites of Angkor, one of the wonders of the world. The grandeur of this bygone civilization is truly astounding. Warmly welcome at Siem Reap International airport, you are met and transferred to your comfortable hotel. Free. At leisure. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12 : Angkor Wat (B)

You have free time until transfer to the airport for the flight to Siem Reap, your base for visiting the fabulous ancient sites of Angkor, one of the wonders today you visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century), the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon visit Angkor Wat - the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Then continue to view the wonderful sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hills. Overnight in Siem Reap. of the world. The grandeur of this bygone civilization is truly astounding. Day 13: Siem Reap Tour (B)

Visit Banteay Srei temple (10th century), regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Then continue your visit to Banteay Samre, build in the third quarter of the 12th century. It consists of a central temple with four wings
Afternoon visit the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Keo, constructed in late 10th early 11th century C.E and Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful. Overnight in Siem Reap

Day 14: Departure (B)

Free. At leisre or you may board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals until transfer to Siem Reap Airport for departure. End of tour.
