During the Vietnam romantic honeymoon trip, You will discover several UNESCO World Heritage sites, including magnificent Halong Bay, historic Hoi An, the enigmatic Cham Towers in My Son, and the ancient capital Hue. This Vietnam trip starts in colonial Hanoi and ends in vibrant Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon).
In charming Hanoi, you will dine in one of the French colonial villas which have been converted into gourmet restaurants, and explore the fascinating maze of 36 streets in the Old Quarter.
Next, you will cruise along dramatic limestone islands in Halong Bay and visit a fishing village.
Farther south, in Hue, you will marvel at its citadel, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas, and temples. Then it’s off to the river town of Hoi An, where you will tour centuries-old merchant houses, and visit busy silk and fish markets.
In Danang, you will stay several days at the beachfront Furama Resort. Nearby, you will see the ancient sculptures in the Cham Museum or My Son, and tour Buddhist cave temples in the Marble Mountains.
Then visit atmospheric Hoi An, a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site and riverfront port town crammed with historic homes, tiny museums, cafes, and bustling silk and fish markets.
In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s dynamic commercial center, you’ll explore colorful produce markets, or perhaps stop in a designer shop to order haute couture ao dai. You’ll also take a day trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense network of connecting underground tunnels that are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. The Cu Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War and were the Viet Cong Guerilla’s base of operations for the Tet Offensive in 1968. Then you will have another day trip to tour the narrow canals of the Mekong Delta to see the traditional side of Vietnamese life.

This Hanoi full-day tour takes you around Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilt House, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Also on the tour will be the Lake of the Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, the peaceful West Lake “with “lovers' street” Thanh Nien), the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese, and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high-grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailor shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. We enjoy a Hoi An city tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge. Following the tour, there will be free time to shop or relax. Overnight in Hoi An.
You will then leave Hoi An for Danang Airport to take a one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Cao Dai followers worship Jesus Christ, Confucius, Taoism, and Buddha. You will also be able to observe the midday service. Following lunch, you will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which consist of more than 200km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life was like during the U.S.-Vietnam War. You will stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
