Itinerary

Arrive in Chiang Mai, meet the driver and transfer to the hotel in town.

(Time: 13:30-16:30hrs) Travel up the scenic winding road to Wat Doi Suthep, with its sky-piercing golden chedi (Pagoda). This most sacred of Chiang Mai's temples (3,280 ft.) provides a superb view over the city and a wealth of images and frescos. Continue with a visit to the Hmong village, which has its unique market at Doi Pui. Here, you will see the Hmong hill people in their colourful costumes, selling various curious, decorative ornaments and textiles. Along the way, take in the fruit trees which have replaced the Hmong's traditional cash crop, the opium poppy.

Day 2: Chiang Mai city tour (B)

(Time: 08:30-16:00hrs) Depart the hotel and drive south of Chiang Mai town to the country's highest mountain (8,415 ft), now with a safe and scenic road winding to its summit. Views depend on atmospherics, but there's an interesting memorial to Prince Inthawichianon at the top and a patch of forest with remarkable flowering rhododendrons and rare birds nearby. Visit Vachirathan Waterfall, the hill tribe village, and the Temple of the Holy Relics in Chomthong on the way back. 

Overnight in CHIANG MAI.

Day 3: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai (B)

(Time: 08:30-12:00noon) Depart the hotel for a Chiang Mai city tour and visit the most interesting temples (Wat Chiang Man). The oldest temple in Chiang Mai town was built in 1296 by King Mengrai of Lanna kingdom. The temple is famous for its Lanna-style chedi supported by rows of elephant-shaped buttresses. Continue to Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Sing, and War Sri Suphan (silver temple), an excellent, unique, and intrinsic architectural marvel built entirely by skilled traditional workers from the local community. The excursion included visiting the Varoros Market, the first and most famous market in Chiang Mai. Visit the Market for flowers, local food, and local products. Thai lunch set is served at a local restaurant (food only). After lunch, a private transfer to Chiang Rai by road with the driver only. 

Overnight in CHIANG RAI.

Day 4: Chiang Rai – Bangkok by flight – Hua Hin by road (B)

(Time: 08:30-12:00noon) Pick up guests from hotel and drive to Wat Rong Suea Ten (Blue Temple) in Rong Suea Ten in the district of Rimkok. The interior of the temple is stunning. Two spectacular dragon statues guard the entrance. The next visit is Wat Huai Pla Kung. The atmosphere of this temple is unique. Here, you will see a fantastic pagoda inside the Guan Yin Buddha. A Buddhist monumental 9-stories chedi-style temple in the Rimkok area is known for its spiritual design and ornamental details. Afterward, drive through the downtown area and continue to Wat Rong Khun, a unique temple that stands out in its white color and the use of pieces of glass in the plaster, sparkling in the sun. The white color signifies the purity of the Buddha, while the glass symbolizes the Buddha's wisdom and the Dhamma, the Buddhist teachings. Chalermchai Kositpipat, a famous Thai visual artist, designed Wat Rong Khun. Eventually, there will be nine buildings, including an Ubosot, a hall to enshrine Buddhist relics, a meditation hall, the monks' living quarters, and an art gallery. After the visit, a private transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for a flight to Bangkok.

Arrive at Bangkok Airport, meet the driver, and transfer to Hua Hin for overnight accommodation.

Overnight in HUA HIN

Day 5: Hua Hin visiting (B, L)

(Time: 08:30-12:00noon) Half day visit Wat Huay Mongkol, Wat Hua Hin & Wat Khao Sanam Chai.

Lunch Thai set is served at a local restaurant (food only).

Then visit Hua Hin Market and Cicada Market 

After visiting, back to the hotel.

Overnight in HUA HIN

Day 6: Hua Hin – Khao Yai by road (B,L)

(Time: 08:30-17:00hrs) Full-day Monsoon Valley Vineyard (incl. entrance fee), Chalerm Prakiat (incl. entrance fee), Swiss Sheep Farm (incl. entrance fee). 

Lunch Thai set is served at a local restaurant (food only). Private transfer to Khao Yai for overnight.

Overnight in KHAO YAI.

Day 7: Visit Khao Yai (B)

Khao Yai Day Trip includes visiting Chokchai Farm (incl. entrance fee), Primo Pizza Shop, Jim Thompson Farm (incl. entrance fee), and Khao Yai Farm (incl. entrance fee). 

Lunch Thai set is served at a local restaurant (food only). Private transfer to Khao Yai for overnight accommodation.

Overnight in KHAO YAI.

Day 8: Khao Yai – Flora Park – Pattaya by road (B)

Participate in a half-day trip exploring Khao Yai, visit the Flora Park, and then private transfer to Pattaya overnight.

Day 9: Pattaya – Chonburi – Khao Chi Chan (B)

Day Trip to Khao Chi Chan. An image of Buddha was laser engraved into the side of Khao Chi Chan in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the king’s ascension to the throne. The mountain is truly a sight to behold, and it is said that it is a dragon sorghum for the ninth king. The mountain was split into two during the Vietnam War but is now a site symbolizing peace. Laser carvings were inlaid with gold, making it a truly spectacular sight. Return to Pattaya for overnight accommodation.

Day 10: Pattaya – Terminal 21 – Botanic Garden – Bangkok by road – Flight to Koh Samui (B)

Half Day visiting Terminal 21 and Nong Nooch Botanic Garden.

Then, in the afternoon, get on a private transfer to Bangkok Airport for the domestic flight to Samui.

Arrive in Samui, meet the driver at the meeting point, and transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 11: Koh Samui – day trip with driver (B)

Day trip with the driver: Wat Plai Laem, Lamai Beach, Chasing Beach, Central Samui, Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks (Hin Ta Him Yai), Red Temple Wat Sila Ngu, Wat Khunaram ( Phra Wihan Luang Por Daeng), Nathon town. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 12: Koh Samui – Krabi by ferry (B)

Private transfer from Hotel in Samui to the pier (45 minutes) connecting by joined ferry boat (1.45-2 hours), then private transfer from Donsak pier to Hotel in Krabi town with the driver only (2 hours).

Overnight in KRABI.

Day 13: Krabi – Phi Phi island tour (B) – Group tour

Day trip to Phi Phi Island by joining a speedboat, including lunch with an English-speaking guide (joined activities & roundtrip hotel transfer, excluded National park fee).

Enjoy a more intimate encounter with the stunning Phi Phi Islands in a guided group. After pickup from your hotel, ride a speedboat to see Maya Bay, then swim and snorkel on Bamboo Island, admire Viking Cave, look for primates on Monkey Beach, and savor a buffet lunch on Ko Phi Phi Don. Snorkelling in Loh Samah Bay and Pileh Bay before returning home.

Day 14: Krabi – Phuket by road (B)

Krabi day trip with driver (Wat Tham Suea, Khao Khan about Nam, Phra Nang Beach, Krabi Town night market, Railway Beach)  – Transfer from Krabi to Phuket by road.

Day 15: Phuket city tour (B)

o   44 - 31 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 30% per group/booking and plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any. 

o    30 days - 15 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 50% per group/booking plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any. 

o   14 - 7 days before arrival: Cancellations fee 70% charge plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any. 

o   Less than 7 days before arrival Or No show: 100% charge per group/booking.

Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, Metta Voyage Co.,ltd will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.

  • Metta Voyage Co., ltd strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour: the loss of deposits through cancellation, lost of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined.
