Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi arrival - Relax - Foods tour on motorbike with local guide

Arrive in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by our guide and driver. The guide will hold a board with your name there. Then, you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Free at leisure. 

At 18:00, another guide will pick you up at your accommodation then take you outside of the Old Quarter and show you areas that most visitors haven’t got a chance to see on motorbikes like the French Quarter & Opera House, Long Bien Bridge...

On the first day of this Vietnam special tour package, you can visit West Lake, Ngoc Ha Village, and the B-52. Lake on the motorbike and come closer to local people. From this place, Long Bien – the first steel bridge crossing Red River is awaiting you. It is the only bridge in Hanoi where all the riders have to go on the left–hand side. Crossing over the bridge, you will see the Local Food Market in Gia Lam. Before going back to Hanoi Old Quarter you can try some food and drink there too. And then, we will take you around the Old Quarter, to taste the most typical and famous street food in the Old Quarter like Pho, Grilled Fish, Egg Coffee, etc. At 21:30, we will drop you off at your accommodation or any place you plan to go.

Day 2: Hanoi - Ninh Binh (Bai Dinh Pagoda, Trang An Grottes) - Hanoi

Morning: Have breakfast at hotels/ bungalows then be ready for the trip

10h30: Visit Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam. You also have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty.

12h00: Have lunch 

13h30: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An area has two main types of ecosystems: limestone mountains ecosystems and aquatic ecosystems. The biological diversity of the communities is a major factor that constitutes these two ecosystems. The natural environment is diverse and harmonious with creatures, mountains, caves, and water bodies exuding the beauty of the young blue water mixed together into a rare area rare in the world. 

Trang An has more than 310 types of rare and precious plants such as limestone, milk, slices, grind, orchid, nostalgia, honeysuckle, juniper, lettuce, etc. Trang An has many rare and precious bird species such as chamois, leopard, and phoenix. With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.

16h00: Go sightseeing and cycle around the village to discover the life of the local people

17h00: Get on the car to return to Hanoi

Day 3: Hanoi - Sapa - Easy trekking to Cat Cat Village

Around 7h – 7h30 driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Sapa (5,5 hours drive). After arrival at the hotel, leave your baggage then you will start to visit Lao Chai Village. 

Located in the northern part of Vietnam, Sapa the town floating in frost is not only famous for its spectacular mountains but also for its tranquil villages. Among those villages, Lao Chai Village, with its irresistible temptation, will attract you at first sight.

Moreover, a palette of fun awaits you in Lao Chai Village as you can have an opportunity to get exposed to Vietnamese ethnic communities as well as take selfies with stunning terraced fields.

Day 4: Cable car to the highest mountain of Indochina - Fansipan - Easy trekking to Lao Chai Ta Van Village

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, the guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to take you to Muong Hoa station and take the train to Fansipan Mountain (he won’t come with you). On the way to Fansipan, admire the beauty of the nature of Muong Hoa Valley. Come to the cable car, on your way to the highest mountain in Indochine countries. (still have to climb about 500 steps to reach the top)

Back to the center by Muong Hoa train. In the afternoon, the guide will come back and take you to Taphin Red Dao hill tribe village, you will enjoy an easy walk through the village path around the valley, paying a visit to H’mong hamlets scattering from the bottom of the valley to higher mountain slopes. From a high elevation, a great view of the valley stretches under your feet. Continue your walk to the Red Dzao village where you will meet groups of women making handicrafts including embroidered clothes, and handbags... see their daily activities and visit their homes to have a look at the culture and lifestyle.

Transfer back to Sapa, and end the tour at your hotel.

Day 6: Hanoi - Discover the most beautiful bay - Halong - Overnight on cruise

08:20 – 09:00: Limousine D-car picks you up at your hotel in the old quarter

12:45: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, Peony Cruise. 15:00: We will visit the Dark and Bright Cave, famous for its pristine natural beauty and the poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights. This is also the best time for tourists to join a bamboo boat or kayaking which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the limestone mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. Afterward, visitors immerse in the emerald green water of Lan Ha Bay with exciting swimming activities or enjoy the mini pool with a jacuzzi on Peony Cruise.

16:30: Return to Peony Cruise. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the stunning moment of sunset at Lan Ha Bay

17:30 – 18:30: Join the cooking demonstration and “happy hour” with buy one get 1 free.

19:30: Enjoy a romantic dinner at the restaurant on Peony Cruise.

21:00-22:00: Enjoy the nightlife of the bay from the top deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoy a glass of cocktail from the bar, watch famous films, and relax on the cruise. Otherwise, you can fish squid with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch the bay from the balcony.

Day 7: Admire the beauty of Halong Bay - Back to Hanoi – Flight  Danang

06:00: Start your day full of energy with a Tai-chi class on the deck and watch the sunrise.

06:45 - 07:15: A light breakfast is available at the restaurant with tea, coffee, and cakes (breakfast time can change due to the itinerary).

07:30 - 09:00: You will join the tour to Cat Ba World Biosphere by transshipment. It takes 30 minutes to transfer from Gia Luan to Trung Trang – one of the most impressive caves in Cat Ba island, Vietnam. The limestone cave has thousands of stalactites in various shapes, offering geological values with a typical cave ecosystem.

9:30: Checking out of the room. Then the lunch in the restaurant is ready for you, at the reception while traveling to the port.

10:30 - 11:00: Disembark and move back to the port.

11: 30 – 11:45: Arrive Tuan Chau Marina. return to Hanoi.

15: 00 Arrival at Hanoi, transfer to Noi Bai Airport, fly to Danang

Upon arrival in Danang, you’ll be welcomed by a guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel and relax. Overnight in Danang!

Day 8: Danang -  Ba Na Hills - Danang (B) / no guide

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive 45 minutes from Danang to Ba Na Hill. In the old-growth forest, there are 543 species of flora and 256 species of fauna including many rare animals such as Crested Argus, Asian Black Bear, and northern buffed-cheeked gibbon. Located at an elevation of 1,487 meters, the temperature of this place is mostly cool year-round. Arrive at Ba Na Hills Station where you have a chance to ride on a modern system of cable cars. Get a bird's-eye view of nature which is strikingly beautiful, while enjoying the feeling of flying in the blue sky among the clouds and wind. Next, visit some old French villas as well as a suspension bridge, Nui Chua, and Mountain Peak. 

Experience the feeling of walking in the clouds when you walk on the Golden Bridge which is supported by giant hands at a height of over 1,400m above sea level. Continue to explore Vong Nguyet villa (and its wine cellar), and Linh Ung Pagoda, Sakyamuni Buddha's monument. Continue stress-out in Sun World Ba Na Hills - Fantasy Park (fairyland, free fall tower, Dinosaur Park,... and more than 100 games - it's up to your choice).

Day 9: Wake up in Ba Na Hills Danang – Transfer to Hoi An Old Town

Wake up at French Village – Ba Na Hills. 

10:30 Check-out

Get on the cable car and transfer down to Danang. Continue transfer to Hoi An city. Check-in hotel in Hoi An. 

Then, we will continue to visit Hoi An Old Town. Start walking to the Hoi An Old Town- Go to the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, a colorful mélange of bright gates, dragon statues, and elaborate rooftops. Get an introduction to ancestor worship while visiting the family altar and watching local devotees making offerings.

- You will see remarkably well-preserved old houses Phung Hung Ancient House or Tan Ky Ancient House that have withstood 200 years of weather and war. Learn about the prosperous merchants who used to live in these homes, trading with buyers from all around the world.

- Make a stop at the Japanese Bridge. The bridge spans a small waterway and was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. Admire the carvings and paintings inside the bridge, learning about their symbolism and cultural significance.

- Additionally, visit some of Hoi An’s well-known handicraft shops and artwork galleries. Discover smaller laneways and local neighborhoods gaining a better appreciation of Hoi An’s endless charm.

- Enjoy your time with the boat ride and drop flower lanterns to pray for luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street.

Day 10:  Hoi An - Transfer to Danang for city sites - Marble Mountain, Am Phu Caves

Breakfast at the hotel. Then enjoy a full-day trip exploring Vietnam from Da Nang. Depart from your hotel to Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountain). Discover the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy a beautiful view from the top of the mountain. Also, visit the mysterious pagodas and the sculpture village located here. 

Then, continue to Son Tra Peninsula, to admire the beauty of the Linh Ung – Bai But pagoda – one of the largest pagodas in Da Nang city. This pagoda has a combination of modern and traditional styles and is home to the Guan Yin statue, considered to be the tallest statue in Vietnam (67 m). From here, you can view the whole city, mountain, and Son Tra peninsula as well as Ngu Hanh Son Mountain with its white, sandy banks. The beautiful landscape creates a unique impression that you cannot find in other places. Then, you will go to visit Monkey Moutain. Finish the Danang city tour, you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant

Continue to Hai Van (Ocean Cloud) Pass, the longest and highest mountain pass in Vietnam with a length of 21 km. On the national highway-01, Hai Van Pass is an impressive landscape. It is like a giant dragon, lying on the geographical boundary between Da Nang and Thua Thien-Hue Province. 

Then, head to Lang Co Beach. With its gradually sloping, white sand beach, average depth of less than 1 m, and average temperature in the bathing season of 25 °C, Lang Co is an ideal beach for tourists. In Lang Co beach, there are various kinds of shrimp, lobster, sea shrimp, crab, butterfish, mackerel fish, and oysters. Not far from the beach, see the Chan May scenery and Lang Co fishing village. You'll have free time to swim, and take photos.

Day 11: Danang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Wake up and enjoy the last morning in Hoian. Then you will be transferred to Danang Airport and fly to Ho Chi Minh City. You will be warmly welcomed on arrival and transferred to the hotel. You walk around a city tour of Ho Chi Minh City by yourself (formerly known as Saigon), the largest and busiest city in Vietnam, with a population of 7 million people. As informed, your flight will arrive at 21:30 so sleep is a must. Relax at the hotel. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, the guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you to Tây Ninh province (2-2,5 hours drive). We will make a stop for refreshment and toilet. When arrive at Cao-Đài temple, we can walk around to have an overview of the temple and admire its beautiful architecture. After that to gain insight and information about this religion, we can go inside the building and watch the Caodaists pray. 

After lunch, you will transfer to Củ Chi Tunnels. Upon arrival:

• You’ll watch a brief propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.

• The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles

of Việt Nam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.

• From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!

• There is a shooting range where you can try to fire automatic or semi-automatic weapons for a fee (this fee is not included)

• Take some rest at the end for a taste of Củ Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home.

We drive back to Hồ Chí Minh City. Then go to the restaurant for dinner. The tour in Ho Chi Minh City ends at the city center between 20h00

Day 13 - Mekong Delta Excursion (B/L)

After your guide meets you in the early morning at your hotel, travel by air-conditioned vehicle about two hours southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta My Tho, considered the heart of the entire Mekong Delta region. 

- On your way, stop at the Vinh Trang Pagoda, a Buddhist site featuring ancient bronze statues and a colonial history. Pause along the banks of the river Tien, the northern artery of the Mekong River.

- Take a boat trip on the Mekong River to a workshop where handmade crafts and sweets are produced from coconuts. A short ride on a horse carriage brings you to one of the many nearby orchards, where you taste homemade honey tea, savor fresh seasonal fruits, and enjoy “Don Ca Tai Tu” - the traditional live music of the Mekong people.

- After lunch, hop on an electric car for a leisurely drive through the countryside, soaking up the rural ambiance as you pass small villages and farms. Mid-afternoon, step back in the boat and cruise along the canals until you reach the spot where you return to your tour vehicle.

- Your day trip ends with the drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for hotel drop-off.
