Embark on a captivating Da Nang to Quang Binh Central Vietnam tour with this 3-day, 2-night journey through cultural marvels and natural wonders. Begin in Da Nang, where the enchanting Ba Na Hills invite you to explore the iconic Golden Bridge and lush gardens, accessible by a scenic cable car offering panoramic views. Continue to Hue, home to the UNESCO-listed Imperial City and the peaceful Thien Mu Pagoda, where Vietnam’s imperial history comes alive through ancient citadels and architectural treasures.
The adventure deepens at Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its stunning karst landscapes and hidden caves. Cruise along the Son River, unveiling the park’s pristine beauty and geological wonders. This compact yet enriching tour captures the essence of Central Vietnam, blending modern marvels, historical depth, and untouched natural splendor into an unforgettable experience.
Morning: Pick-up at Da Nang Airport from 6:30 a.m. - 7:15 a.m. Depart for Ba Na - Nui Chua (Self-payment for optional choices at Ba Na according to Sun Group's price) where there is a combination of four seasonal moments: Spring - Summer - Autumn - Winter within one day. You will enjoy the feeling of floating when sitting in the Cabin moving among the clouds. Visit Linh Ung Pagoda with the 27m high statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, worshiping Lady Mother Thuong Ngan. Visit the Golden Bridge - a unique bridge located in Thien Thai garden in Ba Na Hills - built at an altitude of 1,400m above sea level. The bridge consists of 8 spans and 150m in length which is supported by giant hands. Visitors will really feel like stepping into paradise when they walk on the bridge. Enjoying games at Fantasy Park: new adventure games such as Love Wheel, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Haunted House and Wax Museum displaying more than 40 wax statues of famous characters from all over the world…
Noon: Buffet for lunch at the restaurant in Ba Na (If you do not register to go or do not have buffet at Ba Na, you will have lunch and join the group at your own expense). Afternoon: Leaving Da Nang for the Imperial city of Hue - World Cultural Heritage, go through the route at Hai Van Tunnel, stop by Lang Co fishing village to take souvenir photos. Check-in at the 4* hotel and rest. Arriving in Hue city, you will stop to visit the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, which keeps many precious antiques of historical and artistic value.
Evening: Have dinner with Hue local food at the restaurant (flat rice dumplings). Get on the Dragon boat to enjoy Hue traditional Singing on Perfume River - the unique culture of Hue, watching Trang Tien bridge across the Perfume River - a special symbol of Hue, and also a historical evidence of the ups and downs of the country's history.
Morning: Have early breakfast. Leave Hue for Phong Nha - Ke Bang. Visit La Vang Holy Land - awarded as a Minor Basilica, a place that preserves traces of history and is the largest Catholic pilgrimage center in the country. During the journey, you will cross the 17th Parallel, the legendary Ben Hai River - Hien Luong Bridge - a symbol of the unquenchable desire to unify the country for 20 years. And across the Le Thuy area is the place where the Quang Binh Wind Power Field is located - the largest onshore wind power project in Vietnam at the moment.
Noon: Lunch at a restaurant in Phong Nha.
Afternoon: Take a boat up to the Son River to visit Phong Nha Cave: Co Tien & Royal Palace are deep in the mountain where the underground river flows from Laos, contemplate the beautiful stalactites created by nature over thousands of generations. Depart for Hue on Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh road.
Evening: Have dinner at the restaurant. Free to explore the Ancient Capital at night with the brilliant Trang Tien Bridge shining down on Perfume River, take a stroll around the night market to learn about the daily life of the old capital.
Morning: Breakfast and check-out. Visit the Imperial Citadel - The Royal Palace of the Nguyen Dynasty - the convergence of the peak architectural beauty of the Nguyen feudal era - built hundreds of years ago with an extremely massive scale: more than 100 splendid architectural works such as Ngo Mon, Dien Tho Palace, Forbidden City, Thai Hoa Palace - arranged harmoniously and reasonably. Continue to arrive at Thuy Xuan Incense Village - a traditional incense-making village of more than 700 years of Hue. You can learn about the incense-making process, experience the steps as well as check-in at the beautiful colorful spaces full of incense.
Noon: Have lunch at the restaurant in Hue.
Afternoon: See off and departure at Hue Airport (for trips after 2 PM), at Danang Airport (for trips after 5 PM). Say goodbyes and end the program. See you again!
