Greeting with a warm welcome before being driven to your hotel. Private walking city tour in the late afternoon to see the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Watch a water puppet show in the evening, a welcome dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Visit the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and Stilt House, the One Pillar Pagoda nearby, and other noteworthy sites are all visited during this full-day tour of Hanoi. Then, take an overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai.Â
A car will be waiting to take you to Sapa when the train arrives at Lao Cai train station at around 6:00 a.m. ( take ~ 1.5 hours drive). Check into hotel (early check-in available) Breakfast in hotel, the rest of the morning free to explore around. In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat village. Interact with the local families and share your cultural experiences with them in Cat Cat. Spend a night in Sapa.
After breakfast, you will begin a 3–4 hour trek through the hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, which are inhabited by H'mong and Dzay people. On your way to Ta Van village, you will pause to have a picnic lunch. Then, take the night train from Lao Cai back to Hanoi. Overnight in the train.
Arrive in Hanoi around 5 a.m and taken to a nearby restaurant for breakfast and morning coffee. Then depart from Hanoi for Halong Bay, arriving at the jetty around 12:30 pm. You will embark on a junk cruise on the bay as soon as you arrive. Have lunch. Travel through the enchanted bay. You will hike a short distance to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay after lunch before swimming on a deserted beach or lying in the sun. Spend a night on board.
Wake up to see sunrise, go swimming before have a breakfast. Explore Sung Sot cave (8–9 a.m.) after breakfast, then swim and unwind at Soi Sim beach. Your boat returns to the jetty at 9:30 a.m., and brunch is served from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. At 11:45 am, check-out. Around noon, the boat pulls into the harbor, move from Halong to the airport to catch your quick flight to Hue. You will be transported to your hotel for the night after landing at Phu Bai Airport.
Breakfast in hotel. Start your tour of the city, taking in the Dong Ba market, the Imperial Museum, the Forbidden Purple City, and the Citadel. Overnight in Hue.
Breakfast in the hotel. After that, get on a private boat and cruise the picturesque Perfume River while visiting the elaborate Minh Mang's tomb and Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda). Have lunch. Travel to Hoi An. Stop in Danang to see the Cham Museum and the handicraft villages at the base of Marble Mountain. Arrive in Hoi An, check into our hotel, free time to explore. Overnight in Hoi An.
A half-day walking tour of the Ancient Quarter will take you past the Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year-old Tam Ky ancestral home, and the Japanese Bridge. Free time to shop or unwind after the tour. Overnight in Hoi An.
Depart from Hoi An for the airport in Danang to take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Have a half-day city tour, visit The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and the busy Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Breakfast at hotel. You will travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a network of more than 200 km of underground tunnels. The remaining tunnels are now a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a unique insight into life during the U.S.- Vietnam War underground. Overnight in HCMC.
In lush My Tho, you'll travel by private boat through the canals' lush vegetation to an orchard. Go to the Vinh Trang pagoda and the snake farm Dong Tam. After that, you travel to Can Tho, spend a night there.
Breakfast at hotel. Take a boat trip to the Cai Rang floating market. Our guide will accompany you back to the hotel. Then, prior to traveling back to Ho Chi Minh City for an overnight stay, you will eat lunch at a nearby restaurant.
