On Bai Dinh Mountain, there is a complex of pagodas called the Bai Dinh Pagoda, which has a 539-hectare campus. There are two sections of the Bai Dinh Pagoda: the modern pagoda area and the old pagoda area. A spiritual complex called Bai Dinh has some of Vietnam’s largest and most distinctive buildings. The imposing main pagoda roof is made up of 12 carving knife-head-shaped roofs with 3 storeys, all of which are covered in traditional funny-nose-shaped tiles.
