Private tour with your own English-speaking guide · 15 days / 14 nights · Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hoi An – Bangkok – Ayutthaya – Ubud – Tegallalang – Tirta Empul – Tanah Lot – Jimbaran – Uluwatu
This Vietnam, Thailand and Bali tour is designed for travelers who want the variety of Southeast Asia in one trip, with short flights and no long overland days. You begin in Hanoi with the Old Quarter and the Temple of Literature, spend a night on a cruise in Halong Bay, then fly south to Hoi An for its lantern-lit old town, countryside and beach.
A direct flight from Da Nang brings you to Bangkok for the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and a day at the ancient capital of Ayutthaya. You end in Bali: two nights in Ubud among rice terraces and water temples, then the cliffs of Uluwatu and the sunsets of Jimbaran.
Hotels are 4-star throughout, with 5-star options on request. In Vietnam you have your own guide and driver from Metta Voyage's Hanoi team; in Thailand and Bali our trusted local partners look after you privately.
Easy to moderate. Three short flights connect the countries, plus the domestic flight from Hanoi to Da Nang. Walking is light, mostly in towns and temples, and drives are rarely more than two to three hours. Suitable for couples, honeymooners, older travelers and families with children over 10.
Handpicked 4-star hotels in Hanoi, Hoi An, Bangkok, Ubud and Jimbaran, and a 4-star overnight cruise on Halong Bay, or 5-star on request. We confirm the hotel names in your quote.
November to April is a good time for this route: dry and pleasant in Hanoi, Bangkok and most of Hoi An's season from February. Bali is driest from April to October, with short afternoon showers in other months. Central Vietnam can be rainy from October to December, when we suggest more time in Hanoi or Bangkok.
Your guide and driver are yours alone for the whole trip, so the pace, the stops and the start time each morning follow you. The standard version has an English-speaking guide; guides who speak French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese or Vietnamese can be arranged on request (subject to availability).
