The architecture follows the Aman pattern of a central pavilion with a layered roof and stone terraces, looking down to the bay, with accommodation scattered around it. Mountain and Lake Pavilions are 95 square meters; Ocean and Mountain Pool Villas 125 square meters with private pools; the Amanoi Ocean Pool Villa 270 square meters; the Ocean Pool Family Villa 310 square meters; and multi-bedroom Residences with infinity pools go up to five bedrooms. The Aman Spa sits on a lotus lake with five double treatment suites and two hydrotherapy suites, a floating yoga pavilion and two Wellness Pool Villas that each hold a private hammam or banya.
The site is large and hilly; buggies move guests between pavilions, the Beach Club and the main pavilion, and there are steps everywhere. Days are slow: the Beach Club, the lake, hikes in the park, treatments. Families are welcome, with tennis coaching for children 4 to 10, cookery classes for 5 to 11 and archery from 12.

Amanoi is where we end a trip. Yes, with one caveat: the resort is built on a hillside, so there are steps between terraces and the Beach Club is reached by buggy. Request a pavilion close to the main pavilion and let us know about any mobility limits. The spa, the lake and the pavilion itself make it easy to spend whole days without walking far.
Three nights is the minimum we suggest, because the drive from Cam Ranh and the size of the site mean the first afternoon is mostly arriving. Four nights allow a park hike, a spa program and a day of nothing. Longer stays pair well with one of Aman's one- to three-night wellness journeys.

The Ocean Pool Family Villa and the multi-bedroom Residences are designed for families, and the website lists activities for children from age 4, with cookery classes for 5 to 11 and archery from 12.
