Spend the day on the beautiful Cai Be Princess exploring the fascinating life on the Mekong River. The tour will start with the visit of Cai Be colorful floating market. Along the Mekong canals to Dong Hoa Hiep Island, you'll explore beautiful landscapes and observe the typical Mekong delta rural life. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer and flight to Hanoi for three-night stay. Free time, optional ride cyclo around the Old Quarter then go to dinner at a super restaurant in the French Quarter of Hanoi. Today you will leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. On arriving at the jetty welcome on board and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth. After lunch, take a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay dotted with the golden sails. Swim on a quiet beach or lie on the sundeck. Later in the afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village and interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations. At sunset, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board. Enjoy cocktails while savoring the sunset, and later unwind at the restaurant. Overnight on junk.
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Checkout is at 11:45 am.
