Singapore · Marina Bay · Sentosa · Vietnam · Bali · Malaysia

Four suggested routes, each planned around your dates: a private guide for the key half-days in Singapore, 4★ hotels, transfers, and the flights to Vietnam, Bali or Malaysia arranged by the same team in Hanoi.

In short

How much does a private Singapore tour cost, and can it be combined with Vietnam or Bali?

A private 4-day Singapore programme with Metta Voyage costs from US$1,000 per person, and it combines easily with Vietnam (US$2,120 for 12 days), Bali (US$1,700 for 9 days) or Malaysia (US$1,560 for 8 days). These are indicative prices per person, 2 travellers sharing in 4★ hotels, excluding international flights, and are confirmed in your own written quote.

Metta Voyage is an Asia destination management company (DMC) based in Hanoi. We do not run fixed Singapore departures: the four routes on this page are suggested itineraries that we tailor to your dates. In Singapore your guide, transfers and hotel are handled by a local partner team we have selected, while our Hanoi office plans the trip, holds the contract and remains your one point of contact 24/7. Your guide speaks English (confirmed at quote stage, subject to availability).

Singapore works best as the start or end of a longer journey: it has direct flights from many cities in the US, the UK and Australia, and short connections to Hanoi, Da Nang, Bali and Kuala Lumpur.

Four suggested Singapore routes, tailor-made to your dates

Each route below is a starting point. We adjust the number of nights, hotels and pace to suit you, and confirm everything in a written quote. Prices are indicative, per person, 2 travellers sharing in 4★ hotels, excluding international flights.

  • Singapore in 4 days, from US$1,000: Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown and Kampong Glam, then a choice between Sentosa and the Singapore Botanic Gardens. A good stopover at the start or end of a long trip.
  • Singapore and Bali in 9 days, from US$1,700: four days in Singapore, then a short flight to Bali for five days in Ubud, the temples and the coast.
  • Vietnam and Singapore in 12 days, from US$2,120: eight days in Vietnam (Hanoi, Halong Bay and Hoi An) with our own guides, then four days in Singapore before flying home.
  • Singapore and Malaysia in 8 days, from US$1,560: four days in Singapore, then Kuala Lumpur and the old port town of Melaka.

All four can be lengthened, for instance with a beach stay in Bali or a week in Thailand. Because we are not tied to one country, we suggest whatever balance suits your dates.

A Singapore and Vietnam combined private tour

Vietnam is our home ground, which makes this the most natural combination for us. We run Vietnam with our own English-speaking guides and private vehicles, and Singapore with a local partner team, all under one contract, one quote and one consultant.

A typical 12-day version, from US$2,120 per person (indicative, confirmed in your quote), starts in Hanoi with the Old Quarter, temples and lakes, continues with a night on a 4★ cruise boat in Halong Bay, then flies to Da Nang for three nights in Hoi An. From Da Nang a direct flight takes you to Singapore for four days, with a guide for the main half-days and time to enjoy the city at your own pace before your long-haul flight.

The order can be reversed if your flights land in Singapore. If you would prefer more time in Vietnam, our published Vietnam programmes can be combined with Singapore in the same way; our page on Vietnam tours from Singapore explains the flight connections.

Singapore with a Bali or Malaysia extension

Singapore and Bali is a natural pairing for travellers who want a city break followed by real rest. The flight is under three hours. In Bali we suggest staying in or near Ubud for the rice terraces of Tegallalang, the water temple of Tirta Empul and Lake Bratan, then finishing on the coast near Uluwatu or Jimbaran. The 9-day route starts from US$1,700 per person (indicative, confirmed in your quote). If you have more time, our Bali programmes and Thailand and Bali in 14 Days: Bangkok, the River Kwai, the North and Bali's Temples show how Bali also combines with Thailand.

Singapore and Malaysia can be done largely by road. After four days in Singapore, you continue to Kuala Lumpur for the Petronas Towers and the old colonial centre, then to Melaka, a UNESCO-listed trading port with Chinese shophouses, Dutch and Portuguese traces and good food. The 8-day route starts from US$1,560 per person (indicative, confirmed in your quote).

In both cases one consultant in Hanoi coordinates the whole journey, and you pay one 30% deposit for everything.

How a private Singapore programme works for travellers who like comfort

Singapore is compact, clean and easy to get around, so you do not need a guide every hour. What makes a difference is a private English-speaking guide for two or three half-days, at the times of day when the city is most pleasant: early morning in the Botanic Gardens, late afternoon at Gardens by the Bay, evening in Chinatown or along the river. The rest of the time is yours, with a hotel in a central area so that taxis are short.

We arrange private transfers from and to Changi Airport, choose 4★ hotels within easy reach of Marina Bay or the Civic District, and can book restaurants or tickets for the observation decks if you wish. In the hot middle of the day, we plan indoor visits such as museums, or simply time at the hotel pool.

Singapore is warm and humid all year, with showers possible any month; February to April tends to be drier. Avoid the Formula 1 weekend and Chinese New Year if you prefer lower hotel prices.

Entry formalities: SG Arrival Card and visas

All travellers entering Singapore, except those transiting without passing immigration, need to submit the SG Arrival Card online before arrival; visa requirements depend on your nationality. Please check the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of Singapore and Visit Singapore. UK travellers can also read the UK government’s travel advice, and US citizens the US Department of State.

Vietnam, Indonesia (Bali) and Malaysia each have their own rules. We send a checklist with your quote; visas remain each traveller’s responsibility, and travel insurance is required on all our trips.

Singapore private tour: your questions

Is there a tour operator for a combined Singapore and Vietnam private tour?

Yes. We organise Vietnam (Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An) and Singapore as one private trip of around 12 days, from US$2,120 per person (indicative, confirmed in your quote). You have one contract, one consultant and one 30% deposit, with our own guides in Vietnam and a selected partner team in Singapore.

How much does a 4-day private Singapore tour cost?

Our suggested 4-day programme starts from US$1,000 per person, 2 travellers sharing in a 4★ hotel, with private transfers and a private English-speaking guide for the main half-days. International flights are extra, and the price is indicative until confirmed in your quote.

Can we extend a Singapore trip to Bali or Malaysia?

Yes. Singapore and Bali over 9 days starts from US$1,700 per person, and Singapore with Kuala Lumpur and Melaka over 8 days from US$1,560 (both indicative, confirmed in your quote). We book the flights or road transfers and keep one point of contact for the whole journey.

Do you have fixed Singapore tours?

Not at present. The four routes on this page are suggested itineraries that we tailor to your dates, hotel choice and pace. That is why prices are shown as indicative: your written quote, sent within 24 hours, confirms the exact figure before you pay anything.

How many days do we need in Singapore?

For most of our guests 3 to 4 days is ideal: enough for Marina Bay, the gardens, Chinatown and Kampong Glam, with time to rest. Longer stays work better as part of a trip that continues to Vietnam, Bali, Malaysia or Thailand.

Why book Singapore through a company based in Hanoi?

For a short stay in Singapore alone, booking directly is often simpler. Our value is the combined trip: Singapore plus Vietnam, Bali or Malaysia, with one contract, one quote and a consultant who follows every day. In Singapore we work with a selected local partner team, coordinated from Hanoi, and say so clearly in the quote.
