Private tour with your own private guide in your language (outside Vietnam subject to availability) · 8 days / 7 nights · Singapore – Gardens by the Bay – Chinatown – Night Safari – Sentosa – Malacca – Kuala Lumpur – Batu Caves – Putrajaya
This private Singapore and Malaysia tour follows the old trading routes of the Straits by road. After three nights in Singapore, you drive to Malacca, a UNESCO-listed port town of Dutch squares and Peranakan shophouses, then on to Kuala Lumpur for the Batu Caves, the colonial heart of the city and the Petronas Towers.
There are no internal flights: a private car and driver take you the whole way, with a guide in each country. It is an easy, varied week that combines well with Vietnam, Thailand or Bali, planned by one team with one quote.
Easy. Two road days (about four hours Singapore to Malacca, two hours Malacca to Kuala Lumpur) with stops; the 272 steps at the Batu Caves are optional. Suitable for couples, older travelers and families with children over 10.
In Singapore you stay at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering (5★) or Carlton Hotel Singapore (4★), or similar, both within walking distance of Chinatown or the Civic District and a short ride from Marina Bay. In Malaysia you stay at Casa del Rio Melaka (5★) and Hotel Stripes Kuala Lumpur, Autograph Collection (4★), or similar.
Both countries are warm all year, around 25 to 33°C. February to April and June to August are usually the driest months on this west coast; November to January brings more rain, mostly in short afternoon showers. Book early for Chinese New Year and school holidays.
Your guide and driver are yours alone for the whole trip, so the pace, the stops and the start time each morning follow you. Your private guide speaks your language: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese or Vietnamese (Vietnam: on request; Singapore, Malaysia and Bali: subject to availability).

Continue to Gardens by the Bay. Visit the cool Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest with its indoor mountain and waterfall, then stay for the Garden Rhapsody light and music show under the Supertrees in the evening.
