Best Place To Visit In Thailand

Best time to visit Phuket

The high season in Phuket is from November to March, when the weather is generally dry and cool, with temperatures ranging from 24°C to 32°C. This is the peak tourist season, and prices for accommodation and activities are typically higher during this time.
The low season, from June to October, is the hottest and wettest time of the year, with temperatures ranging from 26°C to 34°C.

FAQ

The best time of year to take a Thailand tour is between November to early April during the cool and dry season. Around this time, the temperatures are about 29 to 34 Celsius degrees.

The climate differs between the eastern and western coasts of South Thailand. During winter, the west coast is highly recommended due to its favorable weather for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

High season

High season lasts from November to March. The climate is cool and dry with Bangkok being the coolest city. However, the temperature ranges from 29 – 34 Celsius degrees. It is the driest season of Thailand.
If you want to do a North Thailand tour, remember that temperatures can drop really quickly after sunset. Don’t forget to pack some warm clothes.

Shoulder season

Shoulder season begins in April and ends in June. Needless to say: The weather is really hot. For some travelers who come from temperate climates, the extreme heat can truly drain you out.

In the northern region of Thailand, the monsoon begins at the end of May. From July to October is the rainy season and is also the low season. Rainfall is quite unpredictable. Sometimes it is just a light shower. Other times it can cause terrible flooding. June and August often suffer the heaviest rainfalls, but October will cool down most of the things.

October is also a good choice if you want to enjoy the cool weather with few showers.

Within Thailand

As there are 6 international airports and 23 domestic ones, travelling by air is very popular in Thailand. Some airlines include Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air, Nok Air, Bangkok Airways, Thai Airways and Thai Vietjet Air.

Although domestic air travel is more expensive than trains and busses, it is still a quick way to get around the country.

Besides, trains are also recommended. The day train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai is a lot cheaper than a flight. This is also a much better way to enjoy the scenery of Thailand countryside in daylight. Some might prefer to take a night train in which you can save time by sleeping. But it will bring unique experiences to see the scenery along the railway in daylight.

Every stop, there will be vendors coming on and off selling food for around 15 THB (0.45 USD).

Within the city

Tuk tuk, taxi, motorbike taxi, songthaew and busses are common ways of getting around the city. In Bangkok, you can take advantage of the Bangkok BTS Skytrain or Bangkok MRT Subway.

At sunset, the whole palace seemed to shine, sparkling in the sky of the city.
