This tour begins with your arrival in Hanoi, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel. On the first day, you have the option to take a cyclo ride to a restaurant or attend a water puppet show. The second day is dedicated to exploring the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and visiting attractions like the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, and Temple of Literature. On the third day, you’ll embark on a full-day excursion to Halong Bay, a stunning natural wonder, where you’ll enjoy a boat cruise among the karst cliffs and visit hidden caves. The following day, a half-day afternoon street food tour awaits, allowing you to savor various Vietnamese delicacies and experience the vibrant street food culture of Hanoi. Finally, on the fifth day, you have free time for shopping before departing for your next destination. This tour offers a combination of cultural exploration, scenic beauty, and culinary delights, providing a comprehensive experience of Hanoi in just five days.
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, our guide will welcome and transfer you to your hotel in the center of Hanoi. Then you'll have the option of taking a cyclo for dinner at the restaurant that was once one of the French colonial villas. Or you can attend a traditional water puppet show before resting for the evening.
On the second day, you'll explore the fascinating Old Quarter with hundreds of specialty shops, selling lacquerware, silk clothing, etc. You can stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and people-watch at one of the many stylish cafes or shop for modern art in the city's galleries. You will have the opportunity to visit the main attractions of Hanoi including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his House on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum and the Temple of Literature.
Located in the Gulf of Tonkin, Ha Long Bay is one of the natural wonders of the world with more than 3,000 islands, over time, wind and waves have created magical shapes. The best way for you to fully enjoy this magical scenery is from a boat, cruising among the karst cliffs, like fairy tale castles, and hidden caves will be an experience. Great experience in your journey. The bay is dotted with numerous large and small islands, and the pristine sandy beaches create a great setting for swimming or relaxing or sunbathing on the deck. Leave Hanoi at 7:30 am and move to Ha Long in 3 hours. When you arrive in Ha Long, you will board a cruise ship for a 4-hour cruise. While sailing, the staff will serve you a hearty local seafood lunch on board. After 4 hours of navigation, return to the harbor and return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Eating on the street is a very typical activity for Hanoians and makes up an important part of the city’s unique culture. Depart at 15:30 for a leisurely walk with our tour guide to the Old Quarter. Make your first stop to taste the national dish of Vietnamese - Pho Ga (chicken noodle soup). Then wander around a local market to enjoy the sights, the sounds and the aroma from hundreds of kinds of food on offer. Then sit down at a tiny Banh Duc shop to try a bit of Banh Duc - cooked rice powder with Vietnamese spices. Banh Duc will be served hot or cool, depends on the weather. Your next stop is a little shop selling many different types of traditional Northern cakes such as Com cake (young rice) which is considered to be a part of every Hanoians’ childhood. Follow your guide to a small alley to get an idea of a typical “tube houses” of Hanoi. You will stop at Banh My Lan Ong and try their famous bread with Pâté. After the banh mi, you can enjoy some Vietnamese desserts - sweet soups called Che. Then cap off your trip by tasting a cup of Vietnamese egg coffee before returning back to your hotel.
No activities are planned for today. You'll have time to shop as much as you want before being escorted to the airport for your next flight

After receiving your payment, we will issue you the hotel voucher and/or final confirmation itinerary, which can be sent to you by fax or e-mail.

NON REFUNDABLE deposit of US$ 100 per person upon the packages tours services confirmation will be applied. Cancellations will be charged as follow:
o 45 days prior to the arrival date: Non Refundable deposit charge and the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o 44 - 31 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 30% per group/booking and plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o 30 days - 15 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 50% per group/booking plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o 14 - 7 days before arrival: Cancellations fee 70% charge plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o Less than 7 days before arrival Or No show: 100% charge per group/booking.
*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.
No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced or during the tour.
Metta Voyage Co.,ltd is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, epidemic or political actions and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance. Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, Metta Voyage Co.,ltd will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your entry date to your travel destination. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa and all travel documents are valid for travel.
Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. Please contact your insurance carrier for details. We can suggest you the insurance carrier case by case. Metta Voyage Co., ltd strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour: the loss of deposits through cancellation, lost of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death.
