Upon arrival in Danang, be met by our car driver and be transferred to the hotel for check-in. free at leisure. Overnight in Hoi An * Notes: The itinerary can be flexible base on the arrival flight schedule; some sites can be visited today to have more time at sites or adding some other sites in the next day (with small surcharge).

IICycling Hoi An Countryside & Walking - Boat Trip (B/L)

The flat, quiet roads around Hoi An are ideal for exploring by bicycle. After breakfast, start cycling along the Thu Bon River with peaceful views of fishing boats and country villages. Continue biking through the Thuan Tinh Ecological village and see areca nut (betel nut) gardens, family shrines, and local villagers going about daily life. Keep on cycling along quiet inland trails, passing water coconut palm trees, fishing farms, and rice paddies to reach palm-fringed Cua Dai Beach. Explore the local fishing village of Cam Thanh just where the Thu Bon River meets the sea with its scenic ocean views, kumquat gardens, and corn fields. On your return to the center of Hoi An, you may wish to stop by Tra Que Vegetable Village to observe local farmers working the organic fields using traditional methods that date back hundreds of years. The rich soil from this village produces some of the most flavorsome vegetables and herbs in all of Hoi An. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty, spend time helping water the plants or fertilize the land before cycling back to your hotel. *NOTES Suggested departure time: 08:00 Tour duration: 04 hours Biking distance: 20km/12mi PM: WALKING & BOAT TRIP Between the 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An known then as ‘Faifo’, was a prosperous trading port, attracting Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese, and Spanish ships amongst others. Today, this World Heritage ancient town is recognized for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-only streets, and distinctive local cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past. Hoi An’s narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour of its many atmospheric sights including old merchant houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, first built in the 1590s by the Japanese community to link them with the Chinese quarters across the stream; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with its intricate woodcarvings; and the colorful market with stalls brimming with local specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two. Enjoy an hour-long boat trip on the Thu Bon River for up-close views of fishing boats and country villages before returning to your hotel. *NOTES Suggested departure time: 14:00 Tour duration: 3.5 hours

IIIDiscovery Cham Island

The Cham Islands, 15km off the coast of Hoi An, consist of seven small islands famed for their beautiful beaches and rich marine environment including 135 species of soft and hard coral. Take a 30min private speedboat ride to experience the magical Cham Islands. Visit a traditional fishing village, where boats take shelter in bad weather, and Ong Ngu Temple, dedicated to whales and whale sharks once abundant around the islands. Snorkel off picturesque Xep Beach before making a final stop at Chong Beach, a true oasis with white sand, swaying palm trees, and a simple local restaurant where you will enjoy a seafood lunch. Deposit of 30% of the total of tour is required upon confirmation of booking tour. The full prepayment will need to be made 45 days before departure for all services by money transfer or credit card payment with all bank transfer charges/ fees to be paid by the client.

Booking Amendment

You can amend your booking when the confirmation is made. Just contact us at [email protected] with your booking number. Our reservations team is glad to amend your booking accordingly. The extra expense may occurred will be informed to you before you decide to amend the services or travel date.

Cancellation Policy

A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking; the balance is due 45 days before departure (bookings made within 45 days of departure are paid in full). A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit charge of US$100 per person applies upon confirmation of the package tour services: this is the amount retained if you cancel 45 days or more before arrival (plus any supplier cancellation fees), not the whole 30% deposit. Cancellations will be charged as follow:

o 45 days prior to the arrival date: Non Refundable deposit charge and the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.

o 44 - 31 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 30% per group/booking and plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.

o 30 days - 15 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 50% per group/booking plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.

o 14 - 7 days before arrival: Cancellations fee 70% charge plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.

o Less than 7 days before arrival Or No show: 100% charge per group/booking.

*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.

Refund of Unused Services during travelling

No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced or during the tour.

Liability

Metta Voyage Co.,ltd is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, epidemic or political actions and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance. Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, Metta Voyage Co.,ltd will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.

Passport and Entry Visa

Your passport must be valid for at least six months following your entry date to your travel destination. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of a valid passport and visa and all travel documents are valid for travel.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. Please contact your insurance carrier for details. We can suggest you the insurance carrier case by case. Metta Voyage Co., ltd strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour: the loss of deposits through cancellation, lost of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death.
