Head to the highlands for an unforgettable journey of cultural discovery and natural beauty. Take an overnight train to Sapa and dive into the traditions of Vietnam’s hill-tribe people. Admire remarkable landscapes on the way to the Muong Hoa Valley, where towering mountains and vibrant fields await at every corner.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, be met by our car driver and be transferred to the hotel the rest of the day at leisure before transfer to train station leave Hanoi for Lao Cai. Overnight on train.

Upon arrival at Lao Cai Railway Station, take a scenic 1hr drive to your hotel in the former hill station of Sapa. A frontier town 350km northwest of Hanoi and close to the border with China, Sapa’s terraced rice fields are some of the world’s most beautiful. Trek through the Muong Hoa Valley to admire the beautiful orderliness of the fields created by skilled, diligent ethnic farmers. There is an opportunity to see different traditions and costumes of the Zay minority at Ta Van Village and the Red Dzao at Giang Ta Chai Village. Return to town where the remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight in Sapa.

Morning at your leisure to explore historical landmarks and the many charming boutiques around Sapa town. In the afternoon, from Sapa, trek downhill through pine forests towards the small village of Suoi Ho, inhabited by the Black H’mong ethnic minority. Notice how their houses are typically built without windows due to the cold weather in the winter. Continue your walk past rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery to the village of Ma Tra with the possibility of seeing tea plantations and cardamom gardens (seasonal) along the way. Transfer to the Lao Cai Railway Station for the overnight train back to Hanoi. End of our services! Cam On & Hen Gap Lai!

After receiving your payment, we will issue you the hotel voucher and/or final confirmation itinerary, which can be sent to you by fax or email.
You can amend your booking when the confirmation is made. Just contact us at [email protected] with your booking number. Our reservations team is glad to amend your booking accordingly. The extra expense may occurred will be informed to you before you decide to amend the services or travel date.
NON REFUNDABLE deposit of US$ 100 per person upon the package's tours services confirmation will be applied.
Cancellations will be charged as follow:
o 45 days prior to the arrival date: Non Refundable deposit charge and the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o 44 - 31 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 30% per group/booking and plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o 30 days - 15 days prior to arrival date: Cancellations fee of 50% per group/booking plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o 14 - 7 days before arrival: Cancellations fee 70% charge plus the cancellation fees applied by the concerned services suppliers such as flight company, boat company, train, hotels... in accordance with their cancellations policies if any.
o Less than 7 days before arrival Or No show: 100% charge per group/booking.
*** Nonrefundable deposit and banking service fee will be forfeited in all cancellation cases.
No refund will be given for any unused service after the trip has commenced or during the tour.
Metta Voyage Co.,ltd is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, epidemic or political actions and unrest must be borne by the passengers. Passengers are required to have full travel insurance. Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, Metta Voyage Co.,ltd will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.
