Another option for you to get to Hoi An from Da Nang train station is to take the bus. However, the bus to Hoi An is not located near the train station, so if you want to take the local bus, take a taxi from the train station to the city bus station, which is about a 10-minute drive away. 

The bus fare is relatively cheap at 0.73 USD and the trip takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. The bus will arrive at Hoi An bus station, from where you can walk to the town center or hire a motorbike taxi to take you to your hotel.
