In short

Why it is worth it

The resort is built the way the villages around it were built. Its villas follow three traditional Vietnamese architectural styles, one for each setting: rice paddy, hilltop, and bay or beach. Terrace Villas stand on stilts above working paddies; Hill and Beach Pool Villas have private plunge pools; Grand Bay Pool Villas have infinity pools over the bay. Three restaurants cook regional Vietnamese food, including a thatched beach grill run by local fishermen. The bay holds about 26,000 square meters of coral reef you can snorkel from the shore. In 2026 the resort holds two Michelin Keys.

This is a slow place. Days are about the beach, the spa, a catamaran on the bay, and dinner. Older couples like the space and privacy; families with children over ten get surfing, kayaking, tennis, and padel. Expect a transfer of over an hour from the nearest airport, and remember the best weather runs March to September.

How we fit it into your private trip

We place Zannier Bãi San Hô as the beach chapter of a private Vietnam trip, usually three or four nights after Hoi An or Hue and before Nha Trang or Saigon. Our driver meets you at Tuy Hoa or Phu Cat airport, and the same car can continue down the coast after the stay. Villa category, dinner reservations, and excursions are confirmed in your written quote.

Itineraries we often build around it:

Good to know

  • Location: Hoa Thanh hamlet, Song Cau district, on the coast between Quy Nhon and Tuy Hoa.
  • Airports: Phu Cat (UIH) and Tuy Hoa (TBB) are 1 hour to 1 hour 20 minutes by road; Cam Ranh is an alternative for international arrivals.
  • Best season: dry season March to end of September; October to January is the rainy season.
  • Villas: 73 in eight categories; Terrace Villas have no pool, Hill, Beach, and Grand Bay villas do.
  • Dining: three restaurants plus a bar; breakfast arrangements are confirmed in your quote.

Frequently asked questions

Is Zannier Bãi San Hô suitable for travelers in their 70s?

Yes, with one caution. The resort spreads over hills, paddies, and beach, so some villas involve slopes or steps. Tell us about mobility needs and we request a beach-level villa and buggy transfers. The pace is gentle, the food is regional, and the spa is a short ride away.

Can children stay, and what is there for them?

Families stay in the two-, three-, and four-bedroom villas. Children over ten get the most out of it: snorkeling on the house reef, surfing and kayaking, tennis, padel, and beach volleyball. We can also book the catamaran for a private afternoon on the bay.

How do we get there from Hoi An or Nha Trang?

By road the drive from Hoi An is long, so we usually fly Da Nang to Tuy Hoa or Phu Cat and drive about an hour and twenty minutes. From Nha Trang, a private car along the coast works well and lets you stop at Ganh Da Dia. Transfers are in your quote.

Which villa category should we choose?

Couples usually take a One-bedroom Hill or Beach Pool Villa. Families of four or more fit the Two-bedroom Beach Pool Villa or a Grand Bay Pool Villa with infinity pool. Terrace Villas on stilts are the simplest option and have no private pool. Price is confirmed in your written quote.
