In short

The Metta Voyage Luxury Collection is our short list of luxury trains, small-ship cruises, resorts and wilderness camps in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Bali, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. We do not own any of them. We book them for you and build the rest of a private trip around them: private car and guide, flights, and the nights before and after.

Every product on this page is open and selling, and we checked the facts against its official website in October 2026. We chose them for the same reasons our guests do: few rooms or cabins, real space, good food, staff who know your name by the second day, and a place in the itinerary that makes sense. A two-night cruise on Lan Ha Bay, a sleeper journey through Malaysia, a tented camp in the Cardamom Mountains or a pool villa above the East Sea is the part of the trip people remember longest.

Most of our luxury guests are couples in their fifties to seventies and families with children over ten, travelling for two to three weeks. They want the special nights, but they also want the days in between to run smoothly: one driver who meets every train and boat, a guide who speaks their language, and transfers timed around check-in rather than around a group bus.

How booking works

Choose one or several products, or tell us the kind of trip you want and we suggest where they fit. Where we hold a current contract rate, we show a from price per person for two guests sharing in the regular season. Where we do not, we show Price on request and ask the property for live rates. Either way, the final price is confirmed in your written quote, together with the private car, guide, flights and every other night of the trip.

Rooms and cabins on these products are limited and the best weeks sell months ahead, especially from November to April. We hold nothing until you confirm, but we can usually tell you within a day what is available for your dates.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book just one cruise or one resort through Metta Voyage?

We build private trips, so we usually book these products as part of an itinerary of five days or more with our car and guide. If you only need one night on a cruise with transfers from Hanoi, ask us and we will tell you honestly whether booking direct is simpler.

Are the prices per person or per room?

Our from prices are per person, based on two guests sharing a cabin or room in the regular season. Some ships and resorts sell per cabin or per villa; we convert this in your quote so you can compare like with like.

Why do some products show Price on request?

Luxury resorts and trains change rates by season, room type and availability, and some only release rates for confirmed dates. Rather than show an old number, we ask the property for live rates and send them in your written quote, usually within one working day.

Which countries does the collection cover?

Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Bali in Indonesia, Japan, and Singapore with Malaysia. Many guests combine two or three countries in one trip; we plan the flights and connections so the luxury nights fall where they are most useful.

Plan it with us

Tell us your dates and who is travelling. A travel designer replies within one working day with availability, a day-by-day plan and one price for the whole trip, including private car, guide and connections.

Private guide in your language; outside Vietnam subject to availability.
